THE BIG Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) favoured by the rich are twice as likely to kill pedestrians as a normal car in an accident
OK, all of you rich SUV people who are twice as likely to kill pedestrians with your "Bull Bar"!

A safe way would be-
making them more car-like. But this won't be popular with SUV buyers.
You SUV people are so like greedy Capitalists!

"Hit by a Hummer."

"Bummer!"

Socialism could not exist without "the rich".

Ya know, I never liked SUVs much, but the Left's collective decision to make them the target of an authoritarian demonization campaign just might influence me to change my mind.

What would an SUV be without a few well-chosen custom features? I would fit mine not just will bullbars but with fender-mounted peasant-sighting staffs, optional running boards with built-in jackboot scrapers, and those cool flamethrower things they have in South Africa for deterring carjackers.

My only concession to the Socialist milieu would be to display the Works of Comrade Kalashnikov in the optional rifle-rack. I would paint VW bug and hippy silhouettes on the driver's door as the mileage accumulated.

Just DAMN !!!

I guess this includes my old 1985 K-5, which is big booted and up in the air with lifts for crawling over such obstacles. But I never knew I was rich, wish someone would keep me updated on my status by how big of a 4 WD I drive?

This is nothing! Wait till next year's crazy fad entertainment for the rich and corrupt hits the tabloids: "Stomping Puppies and Kittens with Heavy Hobnail Boots!" Oh, what awful, disgusting things these rich elitist Capitalists are capable of!

"SUVs have become a fashion fad among the rich for their "country estate" connotations."

Another often repeated lie of the socialists. Rich people have limos, private jets and yachts. The middle class drive SUVs.

Maybe the great moral authority of the Socialist Worker will persuade and I go instead for some ideologically correct socialist transportation:

(Soviet era Zil limousine carrying Fidel Castro and Jimmy Carter from Jose Marti airport during Carter's recent visit to Cuba.)

(another noted socialist with an earlier model Zil)

Yeah! Only State tanks are supposed to kill the proles in "accidents."

I guess socialists prefer sacrifice of their earnings to the state so to be poor pedestrians over being affluent enough to afford a SUV. So is my understanding of this article inferring that Socialists pedestrians are being unfairly endangered by SUV owners? The bull bar has a purpose. It smashes those stupid people who write this kind of class warfare garbage!

I clicked the link you provided for Socialist Worker, then I browsed the site a little bit, for entertainment. Oh my! I came across an article about protesting the war on terror. Part of it states:

"WE were there

"My husband was drafted in November 2002. He was taken to Fort Campbell in Kentucky and kept there for three months of retraining before his draft even started. He was told he would be in Iraq for 179 days. Now he has been told he will be there for 508. He wants to come home. So many of the US soldiers want to come home. I think the war has everything to do with corporate and oil interests. I am proud to be on the demo today. I hope it will have an impact in the US."

• JARI SHEESE, member of Military Families Speak Out "

I didn't know we were drafting soldiers again. Or was he drafted by some other country and sent to us for training? ROFLMFAO

No big deal, since I don't intend to run into any pedestrians.

Ok , they are bigger, which makes them more likely to kill a pedestrian. That they are big should make them easy to see for pedestrians. Hey folks, look both ways before you cross the street
