The point is, Rush didn't say anything to his listeners and readers that Black didn't already, in court papers that anybody can get.

Yes it is a shot across that demonRat's bow. A 36 inch cannonball, to be more specific. "Come and get me." Krishna[sp] would be stupid to take the bait. This after all is simply the state of FloriDUH. Not what Martha tangled with, i.e. the almighty Uncle Sam.

It seems to me the local DA (Kischner) is going after Rush Limbaugh on a crime that no one else is pursued on. Illegally buying and using prescription pain medicines. The dealers are gone after, not the consumers. Rush was not distributing, more likely was being blackmailed by his housekeeper/supplier.

As it "keep on buying my Oxy's or I rat"? Hmm could that be why she passed on to him (or reportedly did) something like a dozen times more pills than he could possibly eat without falling over dead? I wonder if his sewer system is very happy :-) :-)

Why are you jumping on him because he corrected somebody else's ERROR?

Go get some coffee and wake up. I wasn't jumping on anybody. I did not say he was a clinton apointee. He has strong ties to New York and while most likely is not in cahoots with the jr senator of said state, he most likely has strong sympathies in that direction. Miriam Oliphant was not a clinton apointee either, but that did not prevent her from thowing a heavy bias in the 2000 elections.

I know what you mean but what's the alternative?

From the Counties in Florida through the Florida Supreme Court to the US
Supreme Court the system worked in November and December of 2000.

Witchhunt is right!! And at taxpayer expense too. Very sad to see our tax money wasted by a prosecutor investigating personal and private matters that in no way affect Mr. Limbaugh's ability to perform his job duties.

Knowing how the libs love to waste our tax money, I bet this prosecutor will prepare some salacious report that is thousands and thousands of pages long, intimately detailing Mr. Limbaugh's unfortunate private and personal problems. To add insult to injury, I bet the libs will even arrange to have it published and sold to the American public in bookstores. Sad, sad, sad, and totally inexcusable.

I also think he flushed a lot of pills. In the process of hiding them from Marta? and trying some out. He is rich enough to pick and choose exactly what pills he will take that day.

"This was leaked by "anonymous sources," "high-placed government sources close to the investigation."

These are accusations that can be verified by the existing public record. They are numerous and perhaps exagerated --the drug ring charge, for example-- but we can go through the list and sort them out.

This charge are like cards on the table, face up for all to see.

The charge of a smear campaign is interesting; I don't think it was addressed to the court as much as to the public. I don't think the DA is banking on an inditement, but he would like to take Rush down. This lawyer knows that the way you fight a smear is with another smear.

I expect to see a lot of smoke, but very little fire. Sit back and enjoy the show folks: the battle of the titans.

I trust that Mr Limbaugh's family, his friends, his followers and his fans will all love him enough to afford him the dignity of the consequences of his own criminal choices, criminal actions and criminal activities.

Mr Limbaugh still reckons denial is a river in North Africa -- and just doesn't know it yet.

But I do -- and I predicted a number of times, in writing, to Mr Limbaugh, at the time of Curt ["Just another dead doper"] Cobain's death that this was where he [Mr Limbaugh] was headed.

If the direct consequences of Mr Limbaugh's having voluntarily become an habitual user of illegal drugs don't get him [My bet] Florida's DemocRAT's ownership, operation and control of that state's criminal justice system [Of which Roy Black is both a cornerstone and a pillar] -- and willingness to apply rule BY law -- will.

Mr Limbaugh, in his own words, is "just another [Doomed] doper."

And is toast.

And I wish him nothing more nor less than the dignity of the consequences of his own actions.

Folks there are powerful people in very high places that would like to take Rush down once and for all. Rush has done more to put the GOP where they are today than any other person in the country. It is certainly possible these charges are part of a Democratic plan to silence Rush. I am sure Rush would not have said it if he did not believe it was true.

It is a matter of acceptance, Bud. If Rush doesn't accept the fact that people are out to burn him at the stake and that there are no rules when it comes to Rush Limbaugh then he is going to go quickly nuts. Millions of people have been waiting for him to get his come-uppance, some of these are quite ruthless people.

We're quibbling. There's no problem with "accepting" that the prosecution is politically-motivated. Then there's the matter of fighting back, not wilting. Limbaugh has an army of supporters and he should put them to good use in holding the prosecutor's office accountible.

I misspoke. Not an appointee but a supporter of Democrats Janet Reno and Bill McBride.
--
Palm Beach County state attorney Barry Krischer, whose office announced yesterday it has seized the medical records of top radio host Rush Limbaugh, is a Democrat who strongly supported frequent Limbaugh target Janet Reno when she was nominated to be U.S. attorney general in 1993.

By August 2002, however, Krischer had switched his allegiance to businessman Bill McBride, who opposed Reno in Florida's gubernatorial primary. McBride was also heavily backed by Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe, who diverted $13 million from national party coffers in the closing days of the campaign in a bid to upset Gov. Jeb Bush.

McAuliffe has also been a frequent Limbaugh target.

How do I know the charges are trumped up? This is matter of legal prescription drugs. It is on par with jaywalking. The amount of resources that the prosecutor is dedicating to this trivial matter are simply disproportional to the alleged crime. As far as leaks, how else would the media be reporting about the nature of the crime and quoting "anonymous sources". A lawsuit like this seeks to embarass and persecute the victim- whether or not its successful. To sit around and await the outcome is to reward these kinds of lawsuits.

The allegations that Limbaugh was part of a drug-ring investigation and drug trafficking were both reported in the media as on the authority of "anonymous sources". You can put two and two together.
