Was waiting for the first knee-jerk anti-French comment! Deep thinkin', from people who poured good wine onto the sidewalk and called the land of Lafayette "the enemy".

Nothing knee-jerk about anti-French commentary. They're a good part of the reason that we had to go to Iraq in the first place.

And at least they didn't pour out good beer!

On the serious side, I do hope that they caught some of the culprits. I suspect that their motives had nothing to do with their admiration for the US though - they're simply covering their backside.

Absolutely, if France (and Canada, Germany, Syria etc) had not done everything they could to sabotage us at the UN, Iraq could have been taken without a single shot being fired.
