Gordon Jump, actor best known as the Maytag Repairman, died September 22 at the age of 71.

Bah, he'll always be remembered as Mr. Carlson, and on his headstone should be engraved "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly".

That was one of the funniest lines in the history of television. BTW, it's not my list, it's one I found. Another great line from WKRP was when some big handsome guy was talking about how names were important, because they determined what your whole personality and outlook on life would be like, and then asked Les Nessman what his name was. The silence and look on his face before he finally said, "Les" was priceless.
