I heard last year that the reason President Bush spends Christmas at Camp David and not at his Texas ranch is so that his Secret Service folks can spend some time with their families at Christmas.

He has the families for Christmas dinner at Camp David, so they can be together. That is really thoughtful.
The Bushes are more considerate of their security detail than any others have been.
