The assailant was shot "several" times, at what must have been close range. Why is he is intensive care and not the morgue?

C'mon. No one needs a gun for protection.

That's strange. They said the victim was in intensive care but then they said the officer who was charged with the knife was uninjured. Aren't they the same person?

Why'd they close the courthouse?

How about the news twits that say something like: "The gentleman then pulled out his pistol and shot the old lady."

I saw a TV documentary once about a rape case where the one of the cops they interviewed talked about the rapist "making love" to the victim. Rape is not "making love".
