It will not work without a constitutional amendment.Actually, it will not work without impeachment (or a very credible threat thereof). Once we have that, there'll be no need for an amendment. The defect is not with the Constitution. It's with the courts, and our all-too-lenient attitude towards them. That's what must stop.

For marriage the horse has already left the barn. clossing the door alone will not work.
I do agree, judges need to learn they can be removed and are not protected. However go back to the courtpacking scandal of the Depression. Remember FDR was being blocked from institution of his socilist programs. He was going to up the number of USSC judges to pack the court with democrat based judges. Now you don't have a chance with that because all lawyers are taught with the leftist view as the default position.
It almost does not matter if any lawyer becomes a judges because the law schools have institutionalized ignorance. ("1984" and "Animal Farm" are true.)
There are farm more democrat party members in the legal profession than republican party members in the legal profession. The ABA is almost exclusivly Democrat Dominated. (remeber ABA is voluntary)
The ALI organization that makes the model laws which legislators look to for samples of proposed laws is dominated by leftist.
If you want to have a simple start. No lawyer should EVER be allowed on the bench if they have been a member of the ACLU.
