What I'd really like to know is whether Dean has seen patients clinically lately. You know--really practiced real medicine.

Very sad--what is the story on this pic? Did it happen in the US?

"I did not perform abortions. I'm a medical doctor. Nor did my wife,"

He took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. "I am innocent of this man's child's blood," he said. "It is your responsibility!"
All the people answered, "Let his blood be on us and on our children!"

I have done a google search and have not found a story where it indicates Dean has sealed anything other than his gubernatorial records.
Ally in Vermont Keeps Dean's Records a Secret

It would be very interesting if you could post a source to indicate otherwise.

If his specialty is OB/GYN or family practice it's within the realm of possibility he did them.

Its not, which makes me think he is even more of a whack job, his stint at planned parenthood, and his eagerness in regards to abortion are scary as hell. His specialty is internal medicine, and its been noted, repeatedly, that there was no reason for him to have interned where he did, unless he genuinly wanted to serve there for his own reasons.

You could be right. I did a similar search. When Dean was on Russert's show some time ago, this matter came up and my recollection is that Dean talked about protecting patient's privacy, etc. But I may have misheard or misunderstood. Typically I have the television on and am Freeping at the same time.

And, why do you think Dean announces fairly late in the running that he's a Christian? He's looking at his marketability and changing his persona as he goes along.

Please understand the nature of my question--I want this practice outlawed. I make no challenge to the horror of this practice.

However, your link was not what I'd call "provenance." I'm looking for the documentation to this photo.

These days of talented photo-artists, the pro-aborts could claim this photo a result of "special effects."

I cannot stand Dean, but this is off-base. What I think Dr. Howie meant was that he was NOT an OB-GYN and was a "medical" doctor (i.e., an internist). While I cannot be ABSOLUTELY sure that he never did an abortion, it would be HIGHLY UNUSUAL for a non-specialist (OB-GYN) to ever do an abortion. This is a non-issue, folks--there are so many nother reasons to hate him (including his abortion stand) but this chase will not go anywhere, IMO.

The main thing PP does is provide a place for teenagers to get pelvic exams and birth control pills away from mom's doc and mom.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the US - this is what they do and this is their business. The ob-gyn exams and birth control pills are just corollaries to what they do, namely abortions. Consumer Reports found that the condoms that PP gave out were the worst quality of all they tested. In some PP clinics, they give out birth controls with the lowest hormone content, meaning more failures. Failed contraception means more pregnancies and more business for PP. Abortion is what they do at PP. For more info & facts on abortion, check out http://home.att.net/~trackitdown/abortion.html.

In re-reading my post it could be interpreted that I meant that that was all they did--birth control and pelvics. Of course, you are correct. Thanks.
