Good Afternoon All-
Oddly enough, once we get finished donating bandages, medicines, food, water, and the services of our best medical & search teams...we'll subsequently be referred to as "THE GREAT SATAN" by these folks and rewarded with a handful of car bombs.
I'd like to think we're helping innocent victims, but maybe I'm just a pessimist right now...

After the last couple of decades, we should be cautious.
But a fair percentage of Iranians have Internet connections (I don't know
about how filtered it is) and satellite TV...
and they'll see that while their government can get them a nuclear reactor
that may just spell lots of trouble, the Great Satan is the one that can help
them even when their own government is powerless.
The Iranian government has a strategy and so do we.
We may not know for years, decades which one will prevail.

What you said is pretty much the response in the Letters column at New York Post:
http://www.nypost.com/postopinion/letters/14641.htm And here's what the Tehran Times had to say about it:
http://www.tehrantimes.com/Description.asp?Da=12/29/03&Cat=14&Num=001 Hope no one was expecting anything that sounded even remotely like "Thanks, US."
I really loved this part:
"All human beings, black and white, Muslim and non-Muslim, deserve to be treated like human beings. Their dignity should be respected, and violence and threats should be eliminated from their individual and social lives."
Yeah, yeah. Tell it to your terrorist-sponsoring religious leaders, you f*ing hypocrite. >:{~
