Just to add to the list, this is a good soldier's blog (he should be a writer!) by a soldier undergoing training at Fort Drum prior to being sent to Iraq.

These are good sites to follow. You cannot rely on ego-media to report on what on the ground people are experiencing.

From the looks of it, Iraq may indeed turn out to be a fine constitutional republic.

There is a few idiots in there like "riverbend" (baghdad burning) and Salam Pax (he was suckered into the british media to write after the war and now is a hippy loser, i think). They see their glass as half empty all the time. Bitch and moan is their game.

I like the military blogs also but I felt it more important to hear what the iraqi people are thinking and get it more exposure, I love thier comments on our politics, one of my favorite quotes: "If they dont care for another term for George Bush he can sure come over here and be our president" LOL
Hope I didnt give the impression that I am being anti-military, I do it for a living and am trying to get back over there.

Which is why I left them off the original post, the three I posted seem to be the most active and articulate.

The 3 Iraqi blogs you listed are 3 of the 4 I check daily. The only one I would add to your list is this one:

Thank-you for this list - Good versus Evil, Freedom versus Tyranny, live, in front of us, right now. The immediacy, the urgency, the energy, is compelling.
Let me choose a few from your list, that I found especially valuable, so that I might more easily pass these on to my son:
Again - thank-you. And God's Speed to the people of Iraq.
