MOSUL, Iraq – Soldiers from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) fought suspected members of the Ansar Al Islam terrorist group Dec. 28 in the city of Mosul.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two of our 101st Airborne Division Soldiers are in stable condition, wounded in the line of duty while their 2nd BCT successfully carried out this operation. Y
