In the veteran inspector's eyes, the findings highlighted the inadequacy of international inspections. IAEA teams have been visiting Libya for years and knew nothing about the equipment they saw Sunday."

They're SURPRISED that countries can hide these things???
How come a 10 year old could figure this out?

"Even permission to allow surprise inspections would not guarantee discovery of a nuclear weapons program."

"Low-level programs like this are difficult to detect. They can be run in a garage," he said.

Well, DUHHH!!!

"You would have to be lucky or have very good intelligence to run across it."

Yeah. This is NEWS??

"We're doing a lot of soul searching."

How about doing a lot of nuc searching. Hire more people, get better intelligence, use better techniques. Whatever it takes. How about Assuming that certain countries are LYING and take it from there. Stop giving rogue, terrorist-loving, dictatorships the benefit of the doubt.

Sheeesh. They're worthless.
