Doesn't seem like much punishment considering the nature of their crime.

Excellent headline, much better and clearer than another one I saw.

These folks are freaks, neo-nazi, violence loving freaks. They cost that poor woman her life and I can't beleive the sentance was so short. We'll see if these two stay out of trouble.

...they made statements blaming Whipple for her own death...

Ms. Whipple must have been really determined. It is not easy to keep stuffing parts of your body into a dogs mouth what with all those teeth and drool and everything.

"We'll see if these two stay out of trouble."

The trouble they can't avoid is the lawsuit filed by the victim's mother and ex. Can you say "income and asset forfeiture"? I knew that you could. Also, neither can ever practice law, own a dog, own a gun, vote or even see eachother -- even though they're husband and wife, they are both convicted felons and are forbidden by law to consort with other felons, LOL!

IIRC, and I did read about this case at the time, the perps were both defense attorneys, representing creeps, some of whom were incarcerated in Pelican Bay (super max). One of the creeps they had legally adopted(!). They were also raising very vicious huge dogs, apparently as a favor to the criminals they represented, to be used as attack dogs. These people are scum.
