The usual $25 quarterly-check will be in the mail soon.
I also bought a couple of pieces of the Berlin Wall on my last recent trip to Deutchland. I'll get one of those out to you too.........Compliments of Ronald Reagan, not me .

Just a little note about me. I am a single mother of two beautiful children. I have been looking for work since October to provide for them. My ex husband was ordered to pay $150.00 a month in child support, and is behind by about 10 months now. I have been living off unemployment for 3 months.
I am not saying this to gain sympathy from anyone. I am saying this because I am dropping $10.00 cash-I can't afford to get a money order-in the mail to Jim Rob tomorrow. If I can find a way to spend this amount to keep FR available, I know many others of you can too. It only takes a few dollars from each of us that enjoy the site to provide the financing JR needs to keep the site up and running.
Think about it: what does FR mean to you? Is it important enough to scrape together a few dollars? It is to me. Thanks Jim Robinson for this terrific forum!! YOU ROCK!!

Why are you always needing funds for this site?
Please help me to understand why so much money is needed.
Where in the heck does it all go?
How many people run the Freeper site and is it just for the site, or does it go toward Freeper outings and protests?

I've donated $300 to $500 per year since 1999. Should I up the donation based upon the inflation index or just shut up and donate half a yard?

Suggestion for the chart: Swap the "Target" and the "Receipts and Pledges." The "Target" needs to go on the right, near the end of the bar graph, since that's what it represents.

Jim, My check will be in snail mail Monday of this coming week. I do thank you for all of the wonderful work that you do. Hope your nation wide tour will bring you to Alabama.

A big "no excuses bump" for the Freepathon.
I even had to skip a quarter, and I'm not quite able to go a dollar a day yet -- but I'm almost as thankful for Free Republic, especially in this election year, as I am to be gainfully employed again, after 9 months, and I'm proud to be able, once again, to give something.
Hehe, kicked Texas into third place :-).
Come on, folks, no excuses -- if you can help keep this wonderful place going, help! If you're forced to be a Frugal Freeper, then please do as I did last quarter: promise yourself that you'll come up with something out of that first paycheck, and at least bump the thread.
Jim, thank you so much for Free Republic! The silver lining to my unemployment was the freedom to spend most of every day on the Iraqi Freedom "Situation Room" thread. I wish I could help more; that time's coming!

Since I love this place so much and feel that I have to make up for the fact that my state sends two insidious commies to the Senate, I am tossing in a few bucks from my sick bed tonight. :)

Ya got me Jim! I'm opening the wallet!
Thats a feat considering that I am a Penny Pincher! Thanks for opening your wallet first to bring us FR!
