I think Jesus was neither in favor of any political party. After all he was:

For taxes
For sexual purity
For fair taxation
For heterosexuality
Against Adultery
For TRUE love
For the 10 commandments

Doesn't sound like any particluar political ideology to me.

I'm not sure its fair to say that Jesus is "for" taxes. He simply said that you should pay them. I pay my taxes, that doesn't mean I am for them.

And for life! Jesus would never have approved abortion in his area as Dean did in his area.

Howard Dean is, at best, a deluded individual whose grasp on reality is tenuous. He seems to have the personality of a well constipated shrew. With luck he will be the next dem presidential candidate.

You might be right he said render unto caesar what belongs to .... also he did not want to appoint a king until those who were supposibly following him started crying for one (he was already the King and still ls, its just not relized yet!)

Am I old fashioned? This seems horribly flip and sacrilegious to me. Maybe that is a concept that is passe.
