Uh, your "analysis" is quite a bit off.

Try again.

Martha was rich and on top of her game, and specifically NOT a politician or a Wall Street insider,

WHAT?

You are wrong.

As to her not being a politician, fine. But the fact that none other than Bill Clinton met her at her offices immediately on the heels of her story making headlines makes me suspicious.

I am not one who buys the "poor Martha" garbage.

or a Wall Street insider

Wasn't she, in fact, a trader, aka "an insider?"

What is this? A scandal on the near-eve of the primaries? Could this be the tip of the iceburg? Mr. Dean, when one threatens the Clintons, one needs to be prepared for the worst.

Recall Hillary's money manager SHORTING pharmaceutical stocks (as they were melting down) as Hillary's secret "take over and antionalize the healthcare industry" task force was doing its evil work..............

"(Dean's insider) bank-stock sale could raise new questions about Dean's decision to seal many of his records as Vermont governor."

Dumbocrats numerous subrosa activities are becoming more troubling for the continuation of the free and open government for which our founders fought and died.

As I've postulated before, everytime Dumbocrats start mouthing off about "freedom and democracy," you know they're hiding something.

Devil's advocate time: It looks like a lot more detail needs to be evident before claims of insider trading are tossed around at Doc D. This smacks of typical NYP tabloidism.

This is yet anoher reason why persons holding significant office (Gov, AG, House Rep, Sen, Pres etc.) should place ALL of their investments in a blind trust until such time as they are no longer in a position of influence. If they don't know where their money is then they can't be accused of insider or preferential trading. This also allows them to participate, through their trust, in good investing strategies that they would be unable to manage if handled individually. (i.e. bank stocks, oil stocks etc.)

My point was that she wasn't CEO of Morgan Stanley, or something of that nature.

You said she wasn't a "Wall Street Insider". Whatever you meant, it painted a false portrait, as she certainly was Wall Street savvy:

Martha Stewart Indicted on Criminal Charges

EXCERPT:

Ms. Stewart is herself a former stockbroker who was elected a director of the New York Stock Exchange just before the scandal broke. She stepped down from that post a day after Mr. Faneuil entered his guilty plea.

Ms. Stewart's friendship with Mr. Waksal is the nexus of investigation into her trading activities, and to the indictment announced today.

I stand corrected.

So, do you think Dean will fry for obvious insider trades?

Well stated and thanks for the ping. It's how (anti-freedom) criminals think. Just another member of the crime syndicate.

Our best days are ahead of us. The free and open exchange of ideas will see to it.

In matters that positively impact civilization, This President, This Administration, transcend politics.

Those people, even with the ones you so desperately disagree with, are still Americans, and deserve a fighting chance also.

Not in my opinion. Especially with the venom they spew forth. They deserve to reap what they sow.

What about the people like me, who live in a Blue area and do our best to combat "the vast majority of the MORONS that don't care to fight, don't want to fight, don't believe in terrorists wanting to kill us, couldn't care less about taking the fight to an enemy they can't see"?

I pray that one day you can get rid of your elected representatives that sell you out. Or move! Come on down to the South, there's plenty of room!

And what makes you think that an attack on those whom you consider expendable won't eventually affect you?

I live in a small town that I'm sure terrorist don't even know about. And I'm well protected and there are caves close enough to hide in if it comes to that.

You're no better than the rats you claim to hate.

You misread what I was saying. I'm talking about how I would react if this country was stupid enough to put Dean or any other Dem kook into the White House or give them back Congress. I'm reacting to their incredibly ridiculous statements they make at every debate. I feel that if that's how they truly feel, then I have no sympathy if they are attacked.

The venom they spew forth against Bush/Cheney is reprehensible given they are more likely to die in another attack than I am. They are either just stupid or hate America and themselves so much nothing else matters. What am I supposed to do? Change their minds? Impossible. So why should I cry tears if they don't want to defend themselves.

Again, I'm sorry you have to live amongst them.

Why has nobody mentioned the Dean quote awhile back regarding the age of drawing social security-that he recommended or suggested it be at age 70?
I don't remember enough details to fill in the blanks, does anyone?
Seems to me a suggestion of that late age would infuriate even the gen-x rats!!!
