The reason why Hillary got 16% of the vote was because there were 16% of the respondents who also wished they had testicles. :-)

What most stories about the annual list of most admired people misses, is that the most admired man by Americans by a whopping 29% margin over the second place vote-getter is President Bush.
President Bush's score was one of the top three scores for men since Gallup began asking the questno in 1948. The article further said that in 2001 Bush scored the highest ranking ever.

Hillary is most admired for the same reason that Diana was obsessively mourned.
They are every woman's soap opera image of the woman whose man done 'em wrong. Virtually every woman in America who is old enough to have commenced her estris is, or at least fancies herself, hard done by some lout.
They can all identify with their "courage." The worse Slick behaved, the higher Bitch Clinton was held in regard.

This article points up something the pundits nhever want to say but which has profound implications for Americans. The American people can be and often are wrong. This was plainly true when they elected Bill Clinton over Bush Sr. The elder Bush had led us to a glorious victory in Kuwait/Iraq, and more importantly he had presided over the final dismantling of the Soviet Union. He achieved the unification of Germany in Nato, and he supported Yeltsin when the hardliners almost took over again. The recession that his loss was blamed for was actually over by the time of the election. In my opinion that vote was one of the most dastardly decisions by Americans in my lifetime.

"Why Hillary is 'most admired woman... and why Laura Bush isn't"16% in my books is very low regards.
Hillary is considered more of a celebrity, the likes of Michael Jackson and Madonna, both wholesale freaks.

In my opinion that vote was one of the most dastardly decisions by Americans in my lifetime.Ross Perot's congenital hatred for the Bush family and Democrats' Nazi-like demonization of the economy fooled too many people.
The American sheeple class, mostly women, need a strong leader to persuade them how to vote.

Maybe it is the only named women most people can think of. I think the polls on women are crazy. Now Snowe has done things but she never turns up. She also did it more of less because she worked for it and did not marry into it, or I do not think she did. I would think Sen. Snowe would be better than both these women.

Women voters put Bill Clinton into the White House, and they might put Hillary in there as well. The Clintons are the best argument yet for immediate repeal of the 19th Amendment.

Laura Bush also stays more in the background by not tinkering with things she knows nothing about.Bet Laura knows plenty more than this author is giving her credit for. She prefers to keep a low profile and doesn't consider herself to be co-president.
All Hillarys yelling and screaming did no good what so ever. It would probably just take a few quiet words from Laura to get W back on track.
Plus she has the most beautiful smile.
