like hunting ducks with an AK-47You know, every time this comes up, I look again:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Yup.
Thought so.
There's STILL nothing about ducks in there.

Thanks for the e-mail address.
Now I'll compose a little communique to this jackass.

was too easy -- like duck-hunting with an AK-47I don't think that would be very easy at all. Better with a shotgun.

Ditto. Hubby and I both CCW. He carries a 9mm and I carry a Bersa .380.

I called him and asked for the woman who wrote the article. He said it was him, and I said, Oh, I thought you were a woman since you don't like guns. He hung up on me. LOL. If anyone else is interested in finding out if it is a woman or a girly man can call (412) 320-7845.

Daddies/boyfriends/husbands... Don't fail to take your girls shooting. They stay girly about them about until the time they hold one and fire it.
When I visited my daughter (who's living in Bezerkley, CA) I took her to the pistol range. We rented a .22 semi-auto and a .357.
I explained the differences between the two delivery systems and the three calibers (rimfire vs. centerfire), shooting stance, etc.>
After she popped off ten rounds in the .22, she said, "Dad, this doesn't have any kick at all."
I told her to "be patient." Then we moved on to the .357 with .38 rounds in the reel. After six shots, she said, "that's the ticket."
I loaded .357 rounds, she fired a shot, and said, "Ouch."
After 24 years, she's always had a negative image of firearms. Now she wants a .38.
A Ruger Blackhawk will be her birthday present.

But let's be honest: Do any of us know of anyone who wasn't, say, a cast member of "Bonanza" or an Iraqi who recently defended their homestead with a firearm?
Probably not, because YOUR PAPER REFUSES TO PUBLISH DEFENSIVE GUN USE INCIDENTS!

Case in point; Like hunting ducks with an AK-47. I nearly spewed coffee all over the place when I read this and tried to contain my laughter.
You caught that too. Geez, its hard enough to hit any type of fowl with a shotgun. I couldn't imagine trying to take a bird with a bullet.

If you look at a picture like this...
...and all you can think about is where spent brass might end up, you might be a Glock owner!

Or a 1911A1 owner.
My Officer's Model mostly kicks the brass off to the right rear, but occasionally it will spit one straight up and back. I wear a billed cap on the line, but they still occasionally startle me by hitting my safety glasses.
My Sig-Sauer brass on the other hand tends to go straight out and hit the poor soul standing to my right . . .

Hot chicks with CZ-75's!?! Hubba hubba!
They probably won't have too many problems with hot brass + cleavage. My CZ used to chuck brass into low Earth orbit before I installed a new recoil spring.
