The exchange was over long before your take-my-marbles-and-go-home snivel. But thanks for confirming that you finally recognized it too. Mr. Evans bested you, he devastated your argument, he blew through all the clever (by half) traps you laid for him, and he did so without even breaking a sweat. So it's no surprise that you're so upset over it.
But at least be honest enough to admit that he does't "bore" you. He frustrates you; he upsets you; he even angers you. But if there's one thing that's obvious from your compulsive interaction with him, it's that he does not "bore" you.
