Having just finished reading The New Jackals, written in 1999, pre 9/11, I don't think Laurie Mylroi is wrong AT ALL.

The book is meticulously researched and more than half the book is about Ramzi Yousef. The conclusion that he is actually named other than Yousef is inescapable. That he worked with Iraq as well as OBL is inescapable. That they all work together has been shown time and again.

Maybe, but not in the article you linked to. Certainly he says he thinks she is wrong, but, that seems far different than a phone to me.

Making money off the dead at the WTC and the OKC Bombing is one thing, but she was also a consultant to the McVeigh defense team which means every word out of her mouth should be questioned.

If she pops up on this thread, maybe ask her how much the McVeigh team paid her for her services.

Even the FBI who worked on the first WTC bombing thought Iraq was behind it and with good reason.

Read the book I mentioned in my #7. Look at the footnotes which are detailed in each chapter. The book was written in 1999, pre 9/11.

FP: Till this very day, leftist pundits are still arguing that there was no Saddam-terror connection. Could you just very briefly crystallize this matter for our readers, giving a few succinct and concrete facts demonstrating the opposite reality?

Mylroie: With all due respect, it's not something that can be convincingly summarized in a handful of bullet points.

That isn't an acceptable answer. Karl Rove had better find a way to come up with some very brief, simple, irrefutable bullet points or Bush is going to have a lot of trouble with this issue in the fall. The Left has already declared victory because their charges are going unrefuted by the Administration.
