I don't know what chain migration is.

What gripes me about this illegal alien issue is what part of the rule of law is expendable when politicians can no longer hide from the truth of their own lawmaking.

Either, they stop passsing laws they are not willing to enforce, and/or enforcing the law only on certain groups of people or individuals in an inconsistent and questionable manner, or pass laws they are willing to see enforced no matter what, or who donates large amounts to their campaign funds.

I mean here we have President Bush proposing giving some form of legality to illegal alens, while on the other hand Rush Limbaugh is being viciously persecuted for supposedly "doctor shopping". So in my mind I ask, why is Bush allowing aliens who have broken several laws to continue to enjoy America's bounty, while his justice department is going after a man who has worked extremely hard, has provided much revenue to business, advertisers, charities, IRS, and his employees not to mention his outstanding success personally and professionally and our delight to have such a fine entertaining savvy conservative talk show host to provide interesting commentary on the events that shape our lives and future.

Right now I am so disillusioned by all this. Nothing makes sense and everything is bs. Politics sucks us all dry and spits us out in the dung heap of political expediency.

I do not think it is good for us to expect too much out of Rush right now during this difficult chapter in his life which I hope and pray will close in repudiating him and slamming the door on the hell-bent prosecutor who is cravenly searching for something to bring this good and needed man down and out of our lives.

And, perhaps President Bush, like a poker player sometimes will throw his opponents a bid they cannot possibly hope to up the ante on him.

It seems we find ourselves once again asking which laws apply to which individuals. We saw Clinton perjure himself and skate whereas, other citizens who do the same are sent to prison. And, how about the Clinton's possessing over 900 FBI Files? Not one little slap on the wrist. But, Nixon's aide, Colson got sent up the river for having two FBI Files.

It's all a disgraceful sham.

I hope this thread is no indication of the general pulse around here. It can be misleading when all of the bots get together. We need to take a new poll question here at FR.
We are being over run economically, morally, culturally, and our traditions are being trashed and thrown out. We are heading for 3rd world status.
