Powerful Letter To President Bush
From American Border Alliance ^ | 1-10-4 | From Bill Berlat

January 8, 2003

President George W. Bush president@whitehouse.gov The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500

Re: Illegal aliens plus

Dear President Bush:

To say that for the most part I am disappointed in you, would be to put it mildly. But why should you care? After all, your political advisors are telling you to pander to whatever you wish because those who support you have no one else to turn to.

That may be the case, but I can assure you that there will be no further campaign contributions from this household, and although I could never vote for one of the nine Democrat dwarfs, I may not vote at all. To vote for a man who has neither the courage nor the integrity to fight for what is right for America and Americans rather than lawbreakers, would be to discredit my franchise.

You, and your administration, just don't get it. I was a strong and vocal supporter, but I am disappointed with your domestic policies. I supported you on Iraq and on the tax cuts. But signing the campaign finance reform bill was wrong; signing the Ted Kennedy education fiasco was wrong; and the Medicare reform that a large percentage of seniors alive today will never see does too little too late. Your constant pandering to that lout who is President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, is wrong. Your proposal for amnesty, no matter what you call it, without first solving the problem with illegal immigration is wrong, and worse than that, dangerous for the way of life we have known and loved. Did our forefathers give their lives and efforts to forge this country so that we could hear, "Press one for English" on the telephone? So that a person who could not even understand the English language could vote?

You are the first President to not only be on watch, but to assist, when one of the most basic and treasured rights in the Bill of Rights has been abridged. Pornography - OK, but don't speak out during an election. Why, because that pseudo Republican McCain, the darling of the east coast left, from Arizona wanted it?

Homeland Security is a joke. Make Grandma from Minnesota strip down and be searched, and check Momma's shoes, but leave our borders open. If you or Tom Ridge think our comfort level is raised when Grandma takes off her shoes at the airport, all the while thousands of illegals are pouring across our borders, you are mistaken. Without protecting our borders there can be no secure homeland. And now, a proposal to give rewards to those who have broken our laws and come into our country illegally goes beyond the bounds of reason. Let's let all the burglars out of prison. After all, there are so many of them it's getting hard to feed them. Let us create a peon class and destroy middle America with low paying jobs that are competed for by those with no heritage or ties to this republic.

You are going to open the door to a mass exodus from Mexico at a massive additional cost to the taxpayers of this country. And while Jose gets every benefit known to mankind, our veterans, our seniors, and the poor in our country, citizens all, go begging for assistance. America is now a place where a citizen cannot deal with his funds in excess of $10,000.00 without telling the feds about it, but millions of illegals working here can send billions of American dollars to a country that has disowned them? And all the while getting free medical care, free education, and the like? Vicente the Fox must be laughing all the way to the bank.

You fight for the right(?) of every illegal illiterate downtrodden refugee from anywhere to come in and take advantage of our tax dollars and generosity. But where is your fight for your sorely needed judicial nominees and tort reform. And how could you countenance the paying out of billions to the families who survived 9/11 (an act we were not responsible for), while the survivors of men and women who have given their lives for their country in Iraq receive a paltry $15,000.00? Where is the fight against the secularization of our America? You, sir, a President who has a majority in the House and in the Senate, have squandered it.

You have been debased by the political arena. Instead of standing on principle and fighting for what is right, fighting to preserve what made our country great and strong, you are more concerned with pandering for votes to be re-elected. And why should we continue your legacy? Is the enemy within the greater evil than the enemy without who seeks the throne?

You have lost me. I cannot use my franchise to vote for a man who, in my opinion, although strong in a few areas, has let this country down in so many others. You have a sworn duty to enforce the laws of this country - including immigration laws - and you turn your back on doing so.

You sir, a supposed Texan, have failed to Remember the Alamo. You would also do well to remember the words of Gen. George Patton,"Moral courage is the most valuable and usually the most absent characteristic in men." You would appear to have lost the courage to fight for what is right for America.

Respectfully,

Bill Berlat

Do you have any more inane comments, Mr. Democrat?

Nah I'll let you, the master of inane comments, take the lead.

I've been a political junkie for as long as I can remember. But right now I'm so angry and disappointed I yearn to be one of those people who doesn't know who the Vice President is. A few days ago I was really looking forward to the State of the Union address. Now I'm not sure I can watch it.

Yours is a good plan. However, most people vote their own short term, short sighted and ill perceived best interest. Knowing what to do is good, but getting here to there is the difficulty. Stay active.

You know, illegal immigration is a very serious issue.

So I'd like to thank you both, for doing your level best to ensure that anyone who is against illegal immigration will be put in the same category as barking moonbats like the two of you. Thanks a lot. Do us all a favor and get off of "our side".

And ftm-- "Hunt the Boeing", indeed. If you believe that crap, you're not just stupid. You have two years of catching up to do before you can achieve even "stupid".

I agree, but the problem with the RNC is that they are going to listen to their butt buddies and Bush boyz that infest this party and not listen to us until it's far too late.

Time to change parties permanently and to hell with the Republican Party. So damn tired of being shit on by them it's not funny.

from a thread last August - "Professor Denies Pentagon Plane Attack"

That photo you ask about is hosted on a website called rense.com.

You should check it out. You can feast on such articles as
"TORTURE: Hideous Evidence US Military Tortures Iraqis With Electricity"

...as well as the above "Powerful" letter.

And BTW...I have serious doubts about the digital integrity of the photo you ask about.

First of all, why is everything LOL funny? When someone responds to a serious discussion with a LOL reaction to serious observations, ideals, facts, and response I usually see right through that individual for the shallow person they may be.

Secondly, consider all that the case against GWB is as stated in the subject letter, if after a presumed second inauguration, GWB proposes to require the registration of all firearms and restricts the sale of said firearms to licensed dealers only (now private sale is legal in NH) what would you have to say about that? We know he will propose this because of issues with national security. So, what do we think then?

Registration must take place before confiscation.

It amazes me that when we take a position to his right, Dane says we are acting like Dean. How, in any way, is opposition to the disregard of the law and a nationalist worldview anything like Dean? Some other Freeper did the same thing the other night. Defending Bush's centrist to left positions, and calling me a DU troll. Just amazing.

Here's what you wrote:

“And I will post my reply #48 of this thread showing that Dr. Marten thinks that immigrant violent criminals are worse than home grown violent criminals.

I think they are both scum.”

Now, if you finished 7th grade you should be able to diagram this out and see that as you wrote it, it refers to immigrant violent criminals and homegrown violent criminals. It makes no mention of any specific criminal white or otherwise.

Since your toilet cleaner is a criminal I thought you were calling him scum too. That surprised me since you have been defending criminals and excusing their crimes.

You're possibly too short-sighted. W can't get anything done if he is not in office. (Remember his Dad's second term?) W also can't get anything done with the lack of Repub majority in the Senate. Numerically, Repubs have the majority, but have you ever heard of Collins, et. al? They give the moderates (aka liberals) the power. W is doing what he is doing 1) to get re-elected, 2) to take the issues away from the Dems, 3) to create enough of a coat-tail effect to achieve a working majority in the Senate, and 4) by providing the victory margin for a number of Repub Senators he will be able to "encourage" them to back his efforts rather (no pun) than wimp out.

The reality is, in today's liberal media world, a national candidate CANNOT get elected running on a conservative platform. The willing dupes are so ill-educated (thank you public schools) and so brain-washed by political correctness, bleeding heart liberals, and "for the children" rhetoric that the conservative agenda sounds to them like a return to the dark ages.

Most Americans of voting age get ALL that they "know" from Dan, Peter, and Tom! In that sense, conservative views don't even have a voice. And please don't point to Fox news to counter my argument; their approach is very middle-ish and without much in the way of discussion of basic conservative principle, and they always give a soapbox to the idiot left. Also, if they reach 10% of Dan's audience I will be shocked.

Don't judge W too harshly until WE provide him with a working majority in both houses. Then, we have to make our concerns (over and over and over...) known to him and see how he does in his second, conservative term.

Dane is a hypocrite like so many Bushbots. He doesn’t have any core principles that he will stand by no matter who is acting against them. All he cares about is defending his little tin god and attacking anyone who defends a principle.

This is exactly what the Clintonistas did, and exactly the way they acted. Now it’s some Republicans acting the same way. It was pathetic when Democrats did it and it is pathetic to see Republicans do it. It is really pathetic to see some of the people who ranted about the rule of law when Clinton was in office defend trashing the rule of law because it is a Republican doing it.

Clearly a personal attack. Just because you strongly disagree with and don't like someone is not a reason for you to go that route. Please don't.

If he had qualified it with "JMO" and "probably", as Dane did when he called SUSSA a racist in #84, would that have made it not-so-clearly a personal attack? I'm just curious.
