The City of Atlanta is awash in sewage and garbage, with no money to pay for clean-ups. I'll bet they will pick up on this one and try to shut down the historic country club. It's a great diversion -- and it's all about families!

"Obviously, if we could marry, we would," said Kyser, 56.. "But that's not the issue. It's about families, and there are different ways to have families." Yes, there are. This is the right way that is recognized by laws, and there is the deviant way that is not. So of course she'd like to force her deviant choice on society.

It might be hard for her to find a golf game when she's suing her own club.

(When they asked me what I thought of freedom in America,,, I said I thought it would be a good idea.)

How about, New marries Demorest and Tippins marries Kyser? Everybody gets spousal bennies then, so they'll all be happy. If it's not about an "agenda", then that's the solution.

No alternatives??!!! If you can afford putting $40,000 down and $475/Monthly dues YOU HAVE PLENTY OF ALTERNATIVES.

... the club's policy would cause the children to "grow up with the stigma of 'we're different,' " Kyser said.Only because you are, sweetheart. The club's policy had nothing to do with that

Who held a gun to that creature's head and forced her to join Druid Hills?

(now to find a cure for global whining...)
There is no case legal here, but it's a great publicity stunt.
I would never have heard of this club, but now I know a good place to golf in Atlanta.
In a few years, when the old guard is gone and the baby boomers control the club membership, this gay-partner-is-not-a-spouse issue will be revisited.
Until then, the gays will have little chance to change the rules. The same goes to the country club banning women.

"But that's not the issue. It's about families, and there are different ways to have families." Yup.
I could marry my dog - or my car. Just another way to have a family.
