,,, you won't find one person here who would endorse cruelty to animals. Hunting is something that goes back to the dawn of history. Over the centuries, as weapons have been perfected, the quickness of a kill has been bettered and all who partake are happier about that. It's been a long time since I've been hunting, but on December 30 I bagged a goat on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. The legs were Greek roasted and the balance went for crayfish bait - with superb results. I wouldn't kill anything for the sake of it. If it's dropped, it's dropped quickly and it's for food. If it was killing just to keep the population down, that's not my reason for hunting and I'd find something else to do. I doubt many on this site would differ from those ethics, generally.

Okay to some degree I will agree with you..
But all I am saying is that there are others that show hunting to be a cruelty act.
In fact they showed a program regarding animals at the Zoo and when there no longer used they are put in a room for hunters to kill, now that is BS.

Indeed. I am cooking duck tonight, esp. for my children because they love it so. This morning we had venison sausage. Mmmm Mmmmm

The simple fact is that our creator put animals on this earth to satisfy our needs. They have no rights. Period.
