If O'Neil left any classified docs on his material....
He really won't like Bush then.

if he had worked for Clinton and done this, the IRS would be crawling all over his financial and tax records by now.

You mean they're going to probe why it is he even has those documents?

The President doesn't like leakers. He let the Clinton Administration slide on a lot of crap (vandalism and whatnot), but I wouldn't be surprised if they go after O'Neill with full force. The man is a scoundrel.

Umm. Is this going to mean that it's going to get uglier?
The humor? The hilarity?
This is going to be one PRICELESS year!

If he'd worked for Xlinton, he would have an unfortunate fatal car accident on his way to the 60 Minutes Taping, or he would have cancelled the 60 Minutes appearance after his pet dog disappeared.

Well, here's another possibility. What if O'Neill didn't leave with all of the docs? What is someone gave him some of them? Hope they ask O'Neill under oath just where (and from whom?) those docs came from. Just in case O'Neill got a little help from someone...

O'Neill is one of the all-time backstabbing bastards. He violated an age-old tenet of DC politics. He went beyond mere criticism of personalities. Even the dismissed Clinton aides have not turned this way on their former boss.
O'Neill has set out to destroy W and his administartion with this gross display of hatred and bitterness. He is to be reviled forever.
To: My2Cents
Yes, it appears that some of the documents O'Niell kept and supplied to Susskind may have been Classified or at a minimum FOUO.

Ah, but did O'Neill really keep all those docs? Or were some supplied to/for him? Inquiring minds want to know :)

It does seem there are a number of moles in W's administration wanting to torpedo him every chance they get.
To: mewzilla
according to the reporting he has 19000, on cd-rom.

I am sure that is what this probe will look into.
My personal opinion is that O'Niell was embarrassed and bitter when he was canned and kept the stuff to use if he ever decided to. Apparently he could not get over his anger and bitterness, and now it will come back to bite him in the butt.
