I have to agree. The elections in Iran has been embarrassing for the pro-IRI forces, for the most part, but the Guardian Council just dumps anything it doesn't approve of. It even stripped the presidency of some powers when the current (allegedly) reform minded president was elected but before he took office -- a move that was unconstitutional, even under that phony constitution. And of course, female candidates for the presidency have never been placed on the ballot, the excuse being "there's no provision for female candidates."

Yes. about 15-20% of Iranians receive satellite TV beamed in my Iranian-Americans in California. They're all opposition based some of them pushing social revolution with music videos, while others are pushing political revolution with mostly political broadcasts.
On peak times..Iran is 8 1/2-9 1/2 hours ahead of us they typically talk about Persian history, the corruption of the current regime, and give world news on a factual basis.
There are about 17 of those stations right now, and although the satellite dishes are illegal they're quite easy to option in Iran, even though they're expensive.
There are also many radio stations, internet, etc..
