I like Rice and admire her for her smarts and the ability to see the contradictions of the Democratic lifestyle and the support by blacks of that lifestyle. I do want to ask some questions. This Wilson leak thing - the ambassador - or clown as Ann Coulter refers to him - with the CIA wife and the supposed leak from the White House. Does anyone here believe that Condi is the one that dropped this on Novak? Regardless of she is the one, do you think the media will pounce on her as the one even if nothing directly connects her to it? Do you think the media will use this to discredit her in an effort to prevent any White House ambitions she may have in the future? Your thoughts?

I do not believe she was the one that leaked the information (if you want to call it a leak). I believe this because the media continues to say two males leaked the information, and remember she was away in Africa or just returning when this came about. I think she gave her comments on the plane to the media in route to the US. And did not have much dealings with the Wilson guy(if you remember she did not even know of the trip until after the report). I still believe it was someone more closely related to the white house media staff. I also suspect it was Cheney or some of his direct staff. As for Rice being pounced on in the media to discredit her, they are constantly doing this but if she is smart, she will stay the course and not let them get to her. She is a smart lady with a great deal of potential no matter what is being said about her. And remember, she has one of the most influential families in America behind her.
True there are many blacks that say bad things about her, but there is a great deal of support for her in the black community regardless of the aaron mcgruder, harry belafonte or any one else that has nasty things to say about her, she is still respected. Notice the admiration she received on Oprah and the events that she has been invited to surrounding African Americans. It is the media that takes the left approach of reporting about her.
