I don't see how your Lab can be much smaller and still be a Lab! Shelley-Dog is the "Vest-Pocket Lab" - she is English-bred (conformation) on her sire's side and Canadian-bred (field trial) on her dam's. Her size is all her dad's - the English Labs do tend to be smaller. Here she is with a "normal" American Lab:

Another great pic. Your first picture sure fooled me, you are right, your lab is very fit, trim and smaller than mine. Mocha is about 70 pounds and a little overweight. I am just about feeling guilty enough to take her for a walk tonight in the fresh half foot of snow!
