"Those quotes are inaccurate and do not represent the views of Gen. Clark."

Great find.

I think Clark said Saddam and 9/11, and there was a mistranslation? But here's the Jazeera article...wild!

Reached at Gen. Clark's Little Rock campaign headquarters, campaign spokesman Bill Buck told NewsMax

Is this guy passing the Buck? These guys better get their story straight.

Just think how dirty it's going to get in the next 10 months! This campaign is going to be uglier than the dreadful 'SEVEN WEEKS OF HELL' after the 2000 election.

Regardless of whether he was misquoted or misspoke, when will people like him realize that their ridiculous attacks on GWB are used against us by the enemy?

No, no...what Clark really meant was "there is no connection between the WTC bombings and New York city..."

"'I did not believe then that al-Qaeda was involved in 9/11,'" Al Jazeera quoted Clark as saying. "'I do not believe it now.'"

But that's exactly what I heard him say. I was so disgusted at that point that I flipped the channel :)

Can a Freeper who has screen capture software go to that page http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/C99ADA0B-40A4-4966-863B-0FDA4E9C7EF0.htm and grab it so that we have it on file(in case Al Jizzera deletes or corrects it later).
