[history]
ON FRIDAY, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will endorse former California Secretary of State Bill Jones in the GOP primary race to take on Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer. Throw in the endorsements of former governors George Deukmejian and Pete Wilson, and Jones will have won the trifecta of Golden State GOP top-hat nods.

It almost seems too much to hope for. But I'm sure hoping.

Ask people why they support Jones, and they point to his integrity, sincerity and character. Even Democrats talk about Jones' solid reputation. People respect Jones. These are not the first words that pop into mind when people think of Barbara Boxer. The first words that pop into my mind, thinking of Boxer, are "stupid" and "dumb," and then a third word.

Tom McClintock opted to re-run for his state senate seat. He is unopposed in his primary.

I'm a Native Californian and can't think of a damn thing Bozer has done in the past 6 years, for my state or the country. Went to her web site, clicked on "issues" and it was equally vapid of any accomplishments. One of the worst senators in history.
To: TonyRo76
Me too. Feinstein is bad enough...but Boxer is just bad.

Thanks for posting the links! I had been unable to find Jones' site until now. Searching for
"bill jones" senate, his page now shows up fourth, after a Louisiana state senator Bill Jones and a Washington Times article; this is much better than not appearing in any of the first thirty or forty. The website appears ninth when I search for "bill jones" senator.
