Darwin?
Yep.

We live in a world where that teachs that there is no right and no wrong. However, knowing right from wrong frequently separates the living from the dead.
Liberals and their beliefs are hazardous to your health.

Why is it that every person who dies doing something REALLY stupid, turns out to be a "loving, caring person who was just starting their life over", instead of "a wreckless idiot with a dangerous need for attention"?

Definitely, here's the telling lines:
"The victim's friends said that she was a stubborn risk taker who got angry at those who tried to stop her from doing things she wanted to do. The stunt was something she wanted to try, they said.
"She'd go all out for the thrills," said Royster, who just knew the victim for six months."
But of course everyone will blame the movie.

I saw this on the local news this morning. The grandmother is blaming MTV (of course). One of the participants said he knew about the warning on the video but said something to the effect, 'we're just kids, you see it (the warning) and whatever, think they did it why can't we do it?'

Keep an eye on this article about the improvised physics lesson. It's got all the requirements.

A 16-year-old Marysville girl died in a city park Saturday as she duplicated a movie stunt that involved a merry-go-round. Let this be a warning to the idiots out there and their idiot parents.

Another dumb impressionable teen dead. Hollywood is completely irresponsible. Some of the sh*t they put out is just completely reckless and thoughtless, knowing damn well kids are going to mimic this BS.
Was the teenager stupid, and impressionable for doing this? Yes. Were the adults that produce programs like Jackass irresponsible? Yes.

Darwin? No. Immature teenagers doing stupid acts with someone losing their life. The driver of the vehicle will soon find out the cost.

Darwin. Big time.

From the article:
We all told her not to do it," said Royster, who gathered with other friends in the park Sunday to remember the victim.
Obviously not -- somebody drove the truck.
Royster and another friend ran over to assist the victim, who landed in the street about 24 yards away from the ride.
That is an incredibly long way to be tossed from something that sits about a foot off the ground. Sounds like the truck driver didn't spare the accelerator pedal.
There's a boy who needs to have an extended tour of the jail.

This quote from the whole article
"The teens did this several times before they lengthened the first rope with a second rope and tied it to the merry-go-round, said Andrew Royster, 18, who witnessed the accident. That's when the victim climbed on board, he said."
If at first you don't succeed , try, try again.
And they didn't have enough common sense to realize what could happen? At their age they ought to have enough knowledge to 'think' through the possible results of their actions. Wonder if they learned enough 'not' to do it again.
And what about the parents? Honey where are you going? Who are you going with? What are you going to be doing while you're there? How long do you plan to be out?
But a parent must know and care whether the answers coming from their child are truthful.

The girl died for doing a stupid thing. I do not look down on her: I have done stupid things and by Divine Providence was allowed to live.
She took a chance and she died; for which I am sorry.
I have no sympathy for MTV, however. May they be sued for millions over this and many other things.
MTV is perhaps the single, most destructive force in our country.

They also said she was a loving caring person, who often smiled.. "She cared for everyone," said Khristy DeLeon, 16.
The smile was due to the G forces.
