Unfortunately, it looks as if the dems are wise to Howie's shortcomings. We may end up with Kerry at the top of the ticket and Edwards as VP, to get southern votes. Kerry will drag that Vietnam vet whose life he saved all over the country for the next six or eight months. The man will no longer have a life. He's a political prop, and I'll bet Kerry thinks that's what won him Iowa. I'm hoping against hope for a Howie comeback, but after his screeching performance last night, which the networks played ad nauseam, it looks as if Howie's cooked his own goose.
