Uh-oh. I get worried when the President discovers a problem.
I hoping he's not going to set up an anti-steroid department now as part of his cabinet.

Remember the movie "Jerry McGuire?" Remember Cuba Gooding's line, "show me the money?" Sorry, Mr. President, but there is nothing on the face of the Earth that will prevent athletes, and the kids who worship them, from taking performance enhancing drugs until the salaries these overgrown adolescents earn are brought under control.

Maybe he is adopting Daschle's view of "to professionalize, you federalize" so all Pro Sports athletes will be government workers?

This was a thinly disguised message to the powers that be in Major League Baseball (owners and players union) to clean up their act or risk governmental interference. I think they should heed him in light of their anti-trust exemption or the next time there's a strike, the government may get involved.

LOL Yeah, that sure was my #1 concern! Phew! (An unabashedly stolen comment from a friend.)

Bush urges end of steroid use in pro sports How about urging the Rangers to acquire some decent pitching instead? .....even if it requires trading the quarter billion dollar man to do it.
