I am sorry. This article is filled with misinformation. Facts are stubborn things to avoid. You do know better than this.
To believe what is in here is to deny the course of factual events from 1991 on. You have to ignore the chemical weapons he used prior to Gulf War 1, those destroyed by us after Gulf War 1, the constant refusal to comply with inspections, Clinton's administrations assertions that Iraq had them, the attacks on our aircraft in the no fly zones, and the complete disregard for the 17 UN resolutions.
There was no false impressions. There is some indications that Iraq's scientists lied to Saddam on the state of their nuclear weapons progress. If he believed it why shouldn't we? You folks on the left that hate the military and our intelligence services have done nothing but cut funding to both. Then you have the audacity to complain that we are not all knowing? Go gamble with your life, not with me and my family. America is safer with him gone.
We are finding new horrors every day from mass graves to torture chambers. If you had your way all would be in full swing with your support. The Iraqi people now have a future where they did not before. They have freedom for the first time in 35 years. No thanks to the left.
If your point is to simply goad us and run like a teenager ringing a doorbell, well your immaturity is showing. I rarely take time to respond to these but I hate cowards.
Any simple search on the computer can show you the facts. Don't go to the sites that push agendas, go to the ones that deal with facts. Read the prior state of the union speech. Read the speeches to the UN. Read anything. The more you learn the less of a liberal you will be.
