Yes, Rocky gets his fair share, he got part of the meat, and the T-bones. Our state park where we camp has both a fire pit which has a grill and BBQ grills, so the steaks went on the fire pit with the real wood fire, they allow us to burn all the felled wood.

Rocky ate his portion, then curled up and went to sleep for the night, getting up only long enough to go out to tinkle before we went to bed.

This spoiled baby climbs up on the bench seat, then up on to the table to survey his 'kingdom' out of the camper's window.

Rush commented today that he was atleast 6 (?) shades of red and purple. Were he not such a dispicable human being I might feel sorry for him...

I wish I could have heard Rush's comments....alas, not able to at work (maybe soon though). I feel the same way, dutchess....but instead of feeling sorry for him, as he shook his head, especially about the war in Iraq, I thought, "you murderer." I don't know why anybody re-elects him, much less so many in MA!

We're in the "talking" stages of finding a new friend for Gizmo. He seems to be much more playful now...we think he knew Codee was sicker than we thought...and actually plays now with FredtheCat... (much to Fred's chagrin LOL) Our shelter features dogs in the newspaper every Friday. I know...one day the PERFECT one will be featured and I'll be introducing a new Finest FRPET!

You know, sometimes the perfect pet finds you - just when you need them. That's what I'm hoping for you.

BTW, Bubba has a heart murmur now. He went to the vet last week for his annual check up and they discovered it. But, other than that, he's fine as frog's hair. We just have to keep an eye on him (no pun intended since he had one eye removed due to a tumor). I guess we're all getting older and time is taking it's toll.
