Hi ice....Thanks for stopping by today. That's neat that you're taking up knitting. I used to knit as a kid...and really enjoyed it (although my brother and cousins just kind of went ahem when they would open up their homemade Christmas presents....I was kind of into this multi color thing and they were "macho guys" LOL...)
I liked the "get your next pet from an animal shelter" too. We're in the "talking" stages of finding a new friend for Gizmo. He seems to be much more playful now...we think he knew Codee was sicker than we thought...and actually plays now with FredtheCat... (much to Fred's chagrin LOL) Our shelter features dogs in the newspaper every Friday. I know...one day the PERFECT one will be featured and I'll be introducing a new Finest FRPET!

Ever had cream cheese 'stars'? It's that same little thin pastry thing they wrap stuff in, but put just a little tad of cream cheese in the middle..."I love them! Especially with sweet and sour sauce mixed with soy sauce.

Now why didn't I think of that...how true...thanks Dave...and looking forward to your essay tomorrow John...especially since Aqua is doing it. You two are like "words and music" ....(a saying from one of my favorite old movies...Eddie and the Cruisers)

P.S. Codee likes Weinie a lot! except Codes can't understand this obsession with Squirrels :)

That he is using the SOTU to do election-promoting and so on. I didn't hear about his French comment, a good one though.

Rush commented today that he was atleast 6 (?) shades of red and purple. Were he not such a dispicable human being I might feel sorry for him... Why the people of Mass. keep voting him in...I'll never understand.

Hi Cal...Love the "chicken dance music". I'm 100 percent polish...and can't tell you how many times I danced to that at weddings....from age 3 to now. Mr. D. still refuses to do it LOL!

Hi Aeronaut. Mr. D. laughed when I told him about your comment about my instructor wanting to live. I'm getting a little nervous about the next lesson...will let you know how it goes....gosh that means atleast I'm confident enough that I'll live to talk about it :)

A belated hello Maggie. Hope you enjoyed the "landscape" as you embarked on your travels. You are so right about "Constructive Comments" as opposed to "Constructive Criticisms". Once the word criticism is evoked...the "shields" come up. I never really thought of that. Thanks for sharing these words of wisdom.
