So much of our time is spent finding something to be offended at. It fulfills there otherwise worthless existence.

[ School Principal Jonathan Heerboth has said Lord's comment was inappropriate for public school, the paper reported. ]
He was expecting maybe "Comrades, I sign off with POWER TO THE PROLETARIAT ".... no doubt... sounds like time for BB-guns in the parking lot.. with ski masks.. many red spots ALL OVER HIS BODY... a few dents won't hurt em much... permanently

"I didn't have a problem with what he said, but [Superintendent Michael] Koebel knows the rules and knows what people can say and can't say," he told the Belleville paper.Superintendent Michael Koebel knows whose rules? I did not know there was an American rule against asking God's Blessings on your audience. Maybe Superintendent Michael Koebel is an idiot who believes the far Left has redefined America.
That may be the America inside the Beltway around Washington, D.C., but it is not the America that most of us believe in. (See Leftwing Word Games & Religious Liberty.)

yes, he did, and if comedians today were more like him instead of a bunch of no talent foul mouthed punks, comedy would still be funny and the whole family could watch together.

This thread really deserves to get more attention. We need to stand up against this sort of nonsense.

One more bump. This is not just about religious freedom; not just about free speech; not just about both religious freedom and free speech combined.
We are letting the Left, in the name of all sorts of sloganized mock values, cow a large segment of our population into not daring to be themselves. The American who built this society that we are losing, had a self-confidence which was very much a part of the ethnic persona. It goes with our value system. It goes with the Don't Tread On Me battle flag. It means that when some leftist or educator with his tail between his legs, because he dare not offend the ACLU or some other agitation group, tells you that you should not talk a certain way, you tell him where he can go, and you jolly well continue to express yourself.
I guess that makes this a rather long-winded bump.
Again, for a discussion of the particular issue here, about what was actually said, see Leftwing Word Games & Religious Freedom.

And God Bless those decent kids in public schools, who are not intimidated by pompous, politically correct dysrons.
