Honest to God, I would have loved to have had Edwards riding along with me when I owned John's Wrecker Service-- I bet one time of him dragging his own weight of steel chains across a swamp full of cotton-mouths & gators to recover a car would have cured him of liking the Working Class Man...
Lordy, let's hope so-- the same Jackal Pack Media that helped the Clintons worm their way into office is looking for Clinton II... and whoever they fall behind will benefit from their best efforts to spin, shill, lie, cover up, and just not mention stories they don't like.
I hope the New Media of talk radio and the internet can bypass the sorry frauds.
We'll see.

"I have never taken a dime from Washington lobbyists and I never will," Mr. Edwards tells his audiences. "I will be your president, not theirs." But if Mr. Edwards believes that taking campaign contributions from lobbyists makes candidates beholden to them, why won't he reveal more about the interests and individuals that he would owe if elected president?
He is NOT toast because he is exceptionally smooth. Many folks who have never learned the Carolinian art of greeting someone with a big friendly smile and a "how ya doin'" while discretely placing a knife in squarely between their shoulderblades will be completely deceived by this man. Those voters who live in Northern states more accustomed to direct confrontation will not know what hit them. Look at what Long Island born and bred Bill O'Reilly says about this man, calling him a "conservative" democrat. O'Reilly doesn't get it, and others won't either!
Edwards won the senate seat in a conservative Southern state because he convinced people that he was a down to earth moderate with humble roots. While North Carolinians have learned that he is really the third senator from Massachussetts, this level of awareness is not going to spread nationally, until AFTER he is in national office.
This man is a better lier, and potentially more dangerous than Clinton. The politically naive, and especially politically naive Northerners, are totally deceived by this style of liar. Do not underestimate him!
Ugh! I can relate to this... I used to have a boss up here in Connecticut exactly like this (he was from Raleigh, NC). Everything he said and every move he made was "political"... he made everyone in his dept. absolutely miserable. Happy the day I left that job.
Thanks for the ping to this thread, Huber. Lots of great links!
