Oh, is that what Bush is doing? Granting them all "oblivion"? I would think you xenophobes would like that.
And what's with the dictionary quotes? You're the second guy this week to throw a dictionary quote at me. Is it suppose to make your responses sound more intelligent?

Anyone on this thread want to echo and endorse the comments of Wolfstar in post #98?...Anyone....Anyone at all?...
Didn't think so. And that's why I don't give a damn about your narrowminded views (even though I actually tend to agree with you on the immigration issue). You've allowed your passion on a single issue to hijack all reason and sense of proportion. Do yourselves a favor and forget immigration for a couple of days. Go outside, go on a hike, breathe some fresh air. Maybe by Monday you'll be in command of your senses again.

All of that local officialdom immediately around the site where these guys hang out, and no one does anything about the men. It's clearly Bush's fault. [/sarcasm]

The matricula card is actually Bush's real blanket amnesty. He's done nothing to discourage its issuance or widespread acceptance, and has in fact even explicitly endorsed it on the federal level (TSA and Treasury). Apparently, however, this de-facto resident permit doesn't actually transfer the poor people of Mexico to the United States fast enough for Bush's tastes, hence his latest open-border scheme.

Just thought you might want to know the meaning of amnesty before you embarrass yourself claiming that the Bush plan isn't amnesty.

"The Camp of the Saints" scenario brought to you by "Jimmy" W Bush. "Bush's boat lift" ought to be the name of this freakin disaster.

You are insane by trying to blame the people who are trying to stop this.

Thanks for pointing out the declinist nature of this specific proposal, and it also applies to Liberalism in general.

Ummm...before you post such condescending responses... Someone who posts such twaddle over the word "policy" hardly has room to criticize others for being "condescending".
