What the records don’t show is that before we could draft a letter responding to the State, we received a phone call from a newspaper reporter, as a result of a leak by the State Attorney’s office, asking us whether Mr. Limbaugh had agreed to enter a plea. As I told the court last month, we think the State Attorney’s Office should be investigated for journalist shopping.
Or maybe the leak came from your team, Roy.

TOOBIN: To generate a little sympathy for him, shift the attention a little bit. But Roy Black is no dummy. A Limbaugh spokesman yesterday said that he was in the process of working out a plea agreement. What Rush Limbaugh does not need in is a trial in this case. If he's charged with felonies relating to doctor shopping, he could really go to prison. If he reaches a plea bargain, he certainly will not. What he needs to do is get this thing behind him as soon as possible, and that's Roy Black appears to be doing.

ICK!

You're going to cite Jeffrey Toobin?!

Yikes

I haven't been able to look at him since impeachment, so craven was he in assuming the Monica position.

Mind you, this isn't to say I know what's going on with the Rush case, but Toobin (spit) is not one I'd run to as a source.

ICK ACK ICK

We sent them a letter suggesting Mr. Limbaugh be treated in a similar manner that others had been treated.

"Others" what? Who? Why would you offer to deal for something you claim you are innocent of?

A reporter on MSNBC read Black's letter on the air today; Black made the initial overture for a deal.

Lawyerspeak. IMO, Black is making this worse.

Knock! Knock! (Making knocking gesture on wythe's head) Anybody there! The state officially released Mr. Blacks letter today! Claimed it met the States Laws for release of such material. If so they must be dropping the case.

Not so. Toobin was incorrect even as he said this since he was quoting the leak.

And .. CNN has so much credibility .. yeah I can see where you would be willing to believe what they say instead of what Roy Black says.

I mean CNN man .. they only hid for 12 years ALL THE TORTURE GOING ON IN IRAQ .. Yeah, I'd believe CNN.

Toobin is a piece of garbage second to none. He worked for Walsh, the special prosecutor who sabataged the first president Bush with a phoney report right before the 92 election. Further, Toobin was accused by Walsh of stealing the paperwork generated during their so called investigation.

Seems the less ethics the more the leftist media likes you.....i.e.; Doris Kearns Goodwin and Jeffrey Toobin.......among others.

You're quoting the Jeffrey Toobin who insists that President Bush stole the election?
