"I certainly wouldn't want to live in a condo where my neighbor has full license to turn her stereo way up, put her grill next to my door and blow smoke in the house, or leaving things cluttered all over the shared porch. Smoking right outside my door falls into those categories."
By saying that you wouldn't want to live in one, you are implying that you do not live in one. The natural conclusion that I am drawing is that nobody has forced you at gunpoint to move into a complex that allows smoking. I don't want to be run over by an 18-wheeler ergo I don't play in traffic. Life is all about choices, not imposing our will on each other. If there is one thing the world doesn't need it is more restrictions on our lives.

Life is all about choices, not imposing our will on each other. Why is it that negative behavior always gets a pass.
Yes, I wasn't forced to move here, but I "assumed" that neighbors would respect one another. I was wrong. I sold my house because at my age, I couldn't keep up with all the work involved in maintaining a household and work too. I wasn't expecting to breath smoke all summer long.
I wonder why the government prohibits restaurants and factories from operating without equipment to filter the effects of what they put into the air.
