Kerry: He's on His Side! (Kerry flip-flops on the issues)

An anti-frontrunner linkfest.

Kerryphobia Korner: Many emailers have told me I should lay out more rigorously my reasons for opposing John Kerry. I'll try to do that during the coming post-New Hampshire "Turkey Shoot." For those who can't wait, here's a) a link to John Ellis' item on Kerry's "pathetic" '90s attempted rethinking of affirmative action, and b) Todd's Treasure Trove of Kerry Kontradictions, in today's New York Times, and c) a link to a medium-sized kf rant about the senator, from a year ago.

It's been barely two months since Kerry declared for president, and he's already 1) zig-zagged opportunistically on the Iraq war issue and 2) zig-zagged opportunistically on the dividend taxation issue. (Kerry called for "ending the double taxation of dividends" in his major December economic speech and then denounced President Bush's plan, which ends the double taxation of dividends, for creating "unaffordable new tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans." )

Lemme see if I get this right.

John Effin' Kerry is a equivocating, opportunistic, two-faced, lying, self-promoting POS that "forgot" his family's heritage while glumming off a fake Irish surname in a political calculation to "fit in" with the local demographics.

God, I love this guy. Better than Dean. Dean doesn't have near the depth of dirt Kerry has piled up around himself

Kerry is a really good liar. Full time chameleon. His stands on the issues depend on the crowd he's addressing.

Did you see Kerry today on FNC?

He tried to explain the unexplainable.

Kerry voted against the first Gulf War. But today on FNC said he'd have been happy if in 1991 the military marched into Baghdad and took out Saddam. (HUH? Doesn't he realize his beloved UN didn't approve that?)

Then he tried to explain why although he voted for regime change in Iraq last year, now he's opposed to it. Because the UN didn't sign off on it.

He's delusional. It was the most contorted, tortured explanation I've ever heard.

Probably not.

It's too insensible to follow really and we all know the left doesn't have an ounce of sense.

You forgot "back-stabbing" in your description. He stabbed his fellow soldiers in the back when he came back and protested against the war and made outlandish statements regarding atrocities in Vietnam that more than likely never occurred.

He conveniently fails to correct misnomers about himself, ie., his family name being changed, his Jewish ancestry, his fake Irish heritage, and the medals he threw over the fence at the Capitol Building. He is a big-time opportunist and has been for the majority of his life.

They will never notice the pair of stilts he uses to straddle both sides of the fence.

It sure sounds like Ketchup Boy, Teresa Heinz's cabana boy, is setting himself up to debate himself on the issues. He takes both sides of the argument, and makes that debate necessary for people to find out where he reaklly stands.
