Newsweek polls today have Kerry beating Bush if the election were to be held today. Dean would also come close. I hope the Prez gets things going asap and that all Pubbies will get out the vote and defeat the evil RATS in November. If a RATS wins, it's goodbye to the Republic!

I wouldn't give much credence to a Newsweek pole. They're an arm of the DNC. I don't think this election is about how the center/left will vote, it's about conservatives.

Kerry is in the lead. Good. This is a Wake Up Call. This is what happens to you when you turn your back on the sons of the Greatest Generation.

The C Words.
One root of the problem that needs to be annihilated is the misuse of the term Compassionate. President Bush is trying to replace Courage with Compassion.
Every single time you do that you make the left turn unto Coward street. Thus we see what has happened to the Republican party - from Courage to Compassion to Cowards.
Welcoming homosexuals and those supporting the holocaust of the unborn into the party. That is not compassion, that is just a coward.

China is watching

Giving 10 million criminal invaders of this country forgiveness for their crimes and allowing them to take jobs and lower the wages in this county under the guise of Compassion is in-fact, a lack of Courage to deport them. Again Coward is the correct term.

China is watching

Increasing spending to buy votes in called compassion for the sick. Replacing the courage it would take to Lead the Nation to belt tightening, self reliance, looking after family, principles and characteristic that make any nation great. But buying your way out of making tough decisions is cowardly

Not taking immediate harsh action against an enemy who cowardly attacks our civilians, for fear of hurting innocent civilian in the enemy's homeland, makes us more of a coward. It encourages more acts of terror against U.S.
The enemy then calculates that it can make a suicide attack against U.S. and come away with a favorable kill ratio.

This would not be the case if we had killed 3 million arabs on September 12th. It would have left our enemies with an unwinable equation. Every time they attacked U.S. our response in self defense would achieve a kill ratio of 1000 to 1 in our favor. But as it is now, we are being blown up everyday in Iraq and when we react successfully, the terrorist give up knowing they will be taken prisoner and treated well.
Every week terrorist use more powerfull explosions.
Our future enemies are watching and learning how the American mind is being led to react to attack.

China is watching.

Again misuse of the concept of compassion. We are afraid of the reaction of the Muslim world. This is backward.

Our actions should be such that the Muslim world is afraid of U.S.

China is watching

But President Bush is losing. Good. It is still early enough for him to turn around and win. But to do so, he must stop trying to replace Courage with Compassion. Only when you accept the harsh resposiblility and consequence of Courage can you successfully employ Compassion. A coward's compassion is never respected and quickly forgotten. A brave man's compassion is always honored and long remembered.
