More distortion of facts. The truth is that this church is in an ownership dispute/legal battle and is not being persecuted at all. In fact the Methodist church in general reports feeling welcome in Moscow and working quite happily with not only the government but the Orthodox church.
It is to the discredit of this reporting group that they are using issues that are not about persecution at all and trying to make them sound as if it is Christian persecution.
It is especially disgusting to me to see something called Christian persecution when it is not. What a slap in the face to the real Christian martyrs who died for their faith. Such as Evgeny Rodionov, a Russian soldier who refused to give up his cross in order to save his life in Chechnya and had his head removed while he was conscious and alert, at age 19, for his refusal to convert to islam.
