[history]
Some senior administration officials suspect that Saddam Hussein's followers have penetrated the coalition headquarters in Baghdad and passed information to guerrilla fighters.
A defense official told The Washington Times the suspicion at this point is not based on conclusive evidence, but on supposition.

They'd be stupid not to suspect it.

If they haven't been looking for moles since the Wolfowitz attack, heads should roll.
The other key attack indicating the presence of moles was the shoot-down of the Blackhawk helicopter carrying the CWO and CSM of the JAG. It was the second helicopter in a flight carrying the Major General in charge of the JAG.
Additionally, Bremer's vehicle was targeted for attack, but he was unhurt.

I read in an Iraqi blog some time ago that no Iraqi would want to stay at the Al Rashid Hotel because every employee there was a spy for Saddam and that every room was bugged. The blogger also said that former Al Rashid employees are still employed there. Supposedly Mukabaret, every employee.

I would advocate inserting tracking chips in everyone they catch and then start a "catch and release" program. Especially, the snipers. I hope we are using everything we have short of severe torture. The enemy is like an ant colony, you need to mark the workers so they can carry it back to the nest.

> The U.S.-led coalition in Baghdad operates two major headquarters ? the Coalition Provisional Authority, or CPA, run by L. Paul Bremer, and the Combined Joint Task Force 7, commanded by Army Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez.
Iraqis work in and interact with both headquarters. Why? Doing the jobs that Americans won't do?
Shifting loyalties. Its par for the course in that part of the world. Doesn't the CPA understand this? Or do they merely assume that their smiling and apparently trustworthy Iraqi employees are the good guys?
