Gotta say I'm vacilating between the "nothing is going to happen. This is all ridiculous" outlook, and the "Something REALLY bad and outrageous is going to happen" viewpoints.

Every time I try to put this out of my head and write the whole thing off as unsubstantiated internet chatter and not much more, something pulls me back in to worry mode.

Today, I'm having a really, really bad feeling about the next 7 - 10 days. To the point of some serious anxiety. (But, give me a day or two, and I'll be right back into full debunk mode!)

All I can say is..thank heavens we are prepared.

Anyone else having this same feeling?

I think we all go through that to some degree. How do you ever know ? If we closed our borders then I would feel much safer.

Absolutely yes-and I'm not the worrying type. (Did nothing about Y2K, don't worry about Mad Cow, and-ashamed to say- still haven't quit smoking.)

I'm having the exact same vacillation- to the point that I'm trying to encourage my family to travel to another relative's home in a rural area.

Then, for example, I'll go to the grocery store; everything seems normal. Listen to the news- all soothing-snowstorms, Democratic Primary, were there or weren't there WMD's in Iraq, Lacy Peterson...) No one seems anxious at all. Threat level was reduced and all.

Some other things that I keep thinking about are those NEST teams being sent to cities, the recent cog "exercise" when the alert was raised, but mostly, the level of pure hatred on the Jihad forums- which all seem to coincide on the same dates.

You betcha. Today I cleaned my food pantry and assessed the canned items needed to survive an event that closes stores or prevents us from going anywhere. Made a list of must have items and will purchase them this week. Worst case is that our pantry is very well stocked come summertime. My biggest worry is that my family is scattered across this big country in many cities. I made it a point this week to e-mail those with computers and told them I love them for the same reasons you cited.

Yes, on the feeling. Also, have friends going to that Superbowl too. I just best not say anything else about that.

I was fine until I came upon part two of this thread. Now I am worried again. Especially that article I just read (above) about attacking Saudi Arabia. But then again if these demons did have nukes why didn't they use them on 9/11?
