He has just picked up the load that was given to him, shouldered it, and set out to correct it.!

This is true. And its a position that we've all experienced in our home/job: cleaning up other people's messes. In politics, especially in the historical politics of the left...there are many messes...some of which will take several years to scrub clean. But when your job is the POTUS and you have to deal with all of the complexities that come with the job...its a different ballgame. A bucket and a bottle of Mr. Clean won't cut it. Idealogies and attitudes take time to change, re-education (from the brainwashing of the left in all levels of American society) takes time, bureacracy takes time to change; and with change, there is always compromise and sacrifice. Thats where we're at right now.

Excellent post! I've been reading through the posts and wondering why some here can't seem to grasp this relatively simple and obvious fact.

I noticed the accusation in a number of posts from others that "bots" would be screaming if Clinton had taken similar actions to GWB's in immigration, etc., and I'm wondering if they can make the distinction in character, motivation, "strategery", and any number of other differences behind the actions of these two men, or if they discount those things. President Bush has taken strong, decisive action for positive conservative changes when the opportunity has presented itself as the Southack/Wolfstar compilation shows. That gives me hope that his intentions are to make more once he has tools in place to be able to do so. I could be wrong, but so could they. I just know that not supporting President Bush in the 2004 election will only hasten destruction of our founding ideals at the hands of people who leave no longer leave doubt as to their intentions.
