Conservative provocateur Ann Coulter had Democratic strategist Kiki McClean fuming Wednesday night after she rolled one of her patented rhetorical hand grenades right into the Democratic Party's victory tent. "If we are going on personal experience then John Kerry can't really speak to the middle class tax cut in as much as he is a kept man," Coulter told Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes" as McClean looked on.
"He lives off the money made by other men, and left to their daughters or wives," she explained. "He's a gigolo and a cad. His income comes from pursuing lonely rich women."
Stunned by the allegations, a sputtering McClean shot back, "You know, Ann, even for you that's going a little bit far. . . That's a really nasty personal attack."
To which Coulter replied, "What's wrong about my facts?"
Moments later, when Alan Colmes complained that Coulter's description of Kerry's finances was "mean," she responded, "Nobody has contested me on the facts, I notice."
Kerry married ketchup heiress Teresa Heinz, who is said to be worth over a half billion dollars, after divorcing wealthy socialite Julia Thorne, whose family is reportedly worth $200 million.

I didn't know about rich wife #1, so I'm sure
a lot of other people didn't, either.
Good job, Ann!

There is a hell of a lot more truth in Ann's description of Kerry - than there is in Kerry's charges against President Bush...or Kerry's charges against Vietnam veterans...
Of course, we keep forgetting -- that ONLY the Democrats have been authorized to make uncomplimentary charges against their opponents...

Ann Coulter is awesome.
In the "beltway" world of panderers and hypocrites where alleged political enemies address each other as "my good friend on the other side" and use words like "falsehood" instead of "lie", Ann Coulter just says it straight. She is absolutely correct about Kerry - - he's a gigolo and an smarmy political opportunist.

--------------------------
They are all rich patricians. They jerk around in their younger years supported by parents, family name, wives, or whatever until they can worm their way into politics, which is their only area where they are not unemployable. It's true of the Kerrys, the Gores, the Bushs, the Kennedys, or whoever.

A quick look up in the liberal-to-English translation dictionary:
When a liberal uses the word "mean-spirited", it really means "irrefutable".
When a liberal uses the word "hateful", it means "accurate".
When a liberal uses the phrase "a new low", that means "ouch, that hurt!".
Hang around Ann long enough and you'll understand their entire language.

Subtext:
Either these two Democratic spokepeople weren't
completely aware of Kerry's rap sheet, or they
were fully aware of it, but hoped nobody would
bring it up during the campaign (at least until
the official talking points are issued).
The situation with Mrs. Ketchup is widely known.
If the Kerry campaign hasn't spent some brain
cycles anticipating at least the current wife,
that's somewhat astonishing. Perhaps there is no
credible response.
Now they've been put on notice that they'll need
to have a defensible posture on Kerry's entire
financial history. Which raises the next question:
Why now, Ann?
If Kerry is likely to be the Dem nominee, why not
save the grenade for the general election?
My guess is that it's because Ann wants Dems to
derail Kerry and not make him the nominee. She
openly admits that she wants Dean to be the Nom.
So the grenade is tossed early.

I read an article last night where the Deaniacs in Missouri put a right-winger in charge of local campaigning because that right-winger wants, sorely wants, Dean to be th nominee.
Of course, he wants Dean to get his butt kick in Nov

Speaking of McCain (which I really would rather not) .. did anyone see him interviewing David Kay today ..?? The left side of his face is getting a huge lump again, and it's much larger than the spot he had before, going all the way down onto his neck. I also noticed that he's beginning to talk like he's hoarse.
Any of you AZ people who know anything about his condition? Just from looking at him, I'd say he's in very bad shape. He seemed cheerful enough, but his left eye seemed a little droopy.

I don't recall George W. Bush just laying around being supported by his parents. He went to college; got an MBA; owned several businesses; owned a baseball team; Then he went into politics.
There is just no way you can LUMP that together with the Kerrys, Kennedys, Gores, etc.

I don't recall George W. Bush just laying around being supported by his parents. He went to college; got an MBA; owned several businesses; owned a baseball team; Then he went into politics.
---------------------------
Bush owned his first business, which went under. After that, he never owned anything. He was moved into a series of cushy figurehead positions reqyiring no personal investment other than the family name. The athletic team was greatly financed through a political deal in which the city/state confiscated the land for it. Out of an original investment of $15,000 in his first faltering business, Bush came out with tens of millions of dollars for practical purposes as gifts in return for use of the Bush name.
