U.S. had plans to suspend biometric border

WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- A leaked memorandum Wednesday said there are contingency plans to suspend a new biometric U.S. border control system if lines at border get too long.

Among all those who should understand the link between rapid population growth, immigration, and environmental degradation, it is the environmental community. But for years both Audubon and the Sierra Club have studiously avoided criticising mass immigration. Maybe they are having a change of heart.

It is past time for rethinking mass immigration. The children born to post-1970 immigrants plus the annual flow of legal and illegal immigrants account for 87% of U.S. population growth.
