Answer: Kojak. And it showed that even the poor folks in the USA lived a lot better than folks in the USSR.

Does anyone know the most popular TV show in Poland in the 1980s? Answer: Kojak. Funny you say that, in fact the Polish government showed Kojak on Sundays in order to try to discourage people from attending mass.
